A little background, a little history...

    Who is n•Vision?

N•Vision Designs is a small (read: one-woman) design company in Hampton Roads, VA. Along with my sidekick, Cecil J, we run this joint.

    Let's get personal:

A Carolina girl at heart, I didn't let a five-year stint in New Jersey squelch my Southern hospitality.  And yet, with a pioneering spirit, I ventured to the Midwest to obtain a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from Washington University in St. Louis.  Before starting n•Vision designs, I worked as a freelance designer and production artist, an instructor at Sanford-Brown College; then relocated to Virginia to work as the Senior Graphic Designer for Morgan Communications Media, Inc. Most recently I was employed as the Web and Graphic Designer for ProActivIT, an IT company in Yorktown, VA. Through it all: studying the art of communication.

Well, that's not very personal...who are you, really?

Okay, if you must know. My name is Nyla Denise. I am daily entertained by a cat named Fievel and a lively African Grey Parrot who's favorite phrases are "Be quiet, bird" and "bad kitty"...(sigh). I do enjoy animals and find it fascinating how many life lessons can be gleaned from them. Past my obvious passion for art and design, see the links at the bottom of the page or here for more of what rocks my world.
