Probably the most common method of publicity, fliers can be posted in approved public locations, handed out at events, or mailed directly to your audience. For a larger presence, use posters, placed in strategic locations.
Pamphets are a great leave-behind piece when you have a lot of information that needs to be organized into manageable sections. They can be small, but effective. (A tip: when planning for your booklet or pamphlet, remember that you want your total number of pages (including covers) to be a multiple of four.)
A standard trifold brochure is an excellent way to showcase or summarize your company, organization, or cause.
You may be just starting out, or you may be revamping your identity. Either way, your logo is your face to the world. Use your face to put your best foot forward. Or...something like that.
Create a customized card that you just can't buy in a store. Cards and invitations can be designed for any events: birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, open houses, conferences, etc. As with all projects, when planning, be sure to consider the necessary printing time for time-sensitive occassions.
Illustration is quite a diverse field with a range of styles. Illustrations for a children's book, for example, can range from simplistic and abstract to detailed and realistic. Digital illustration is ideal for many of today's applications. For more traditional fine art, my illustrations will generally be created in pastel or charcoal media.
A 30-second promo may be just what you need to capture your audience's attention. Combine text with images, movement with sound, and create a powerful message that can leave a lasting effect.
You may be surprised that I'm saying this, but — it is not necessary to have a website in order to be successful. Having a website is not a magic bullet in and of itself; but, having said that, the possibilities are astounding. Technology is constantly advancing. Your reach is no longer limited to just those you can see; you could potentially be impacting someone across the world.
Some clients will start off with a smaller brochure site and add advanced functionality as they are able and as their organization develops. Whatever level you are at, your web solution will include a custom design, hosting, domain registration, and content management. Web hosting includes web-based email accounts.
Your website will come with a content management system that allows you to edit your content right from the page. If you can use a text editor like Microsoft Word, you have all the technical experience necessary to edit your own website content, and you can do it whenever you so desire.
